What is on your wishlist for Great Falls?
We all have these conversations: " I wish we had a (fill in the blank)". Maybe you traveled somewhere and came back inspired to (fill in the blank), or you just moved here and really miss (fill in the blank). Possibly you saw a really cool (fill in the blank) online or on TV, and would love to have one available in Great Falls. Whether you're an individual, an organization, a business owner, or "just a kid", we'd love to hear from you!
Why? We consider ourselves as members of the Great Falls and Montana community, and want to contribute. For some of your ideas to "spark", we may just be able to connect the right partners and turn them into reality. If you want to develop an idea yourself, we will do our best to point you in a direction to get started.
What's on our "wishlist" for Great Falls? Let us know if you agree, disagree, know of potential partners or sites, or have a skill that may fit right in!
On the Dining Development side: A beer-garden and other choices along Rivers Edge Trail. A puppy friendly bar, improved dining options in general, preferably by assisting some of our existing restaurants to rise and shine. More outdoor dining, including some options in our parks and at Giant Springs. Our museums could gain popularity by adding coffee shops and restaurants with membership discounts, giving us a reason to come back to them more regularly. Gelato, a real Bagel shop, and a local Farm-fresh/ Ranch food distribution network available to our restaurants. How about some barn dining options in participating Farms and Ranches? And while Pasta Montana is not in the restaurant business, they may agree to supply their goods to our own Pastaria Montana.
On the Education side: A "Children's Farm" Childcare option in town. Did you know that Kindergarten was invented to be just that, a facility for children to garden? Children on farms and ranches out of town grow up with that experience, and we believe that there must be opportunities to provide some of that experience to our kids in town.
